On Saturday, April 22nd, I will participate in the Najs buvljak as a panelist in a discussion about sustainable fashion, and in addition, I will sell some items from my closet. These are lightly-worn pieces that I simply didn't click with - some were gifts, and some just don't fit my style as it has changed over the years. To give you an idea of what I'll be selling, I'm showing you a few pieces I’m bringing on Saturday. I will donate all proceeds from the sale, so I hope you can make it and help me support Fashion Revolution.
These satin slippers are super cute, but I simply don't wear them. They're collecting dust in my closet, which is a shame because they're a lovely pair that can take a basic outfit in an unexpected direction. I bought the dress for a specific occasion and only wore it a few times afterward. It's beautiful, but I don’t feel very ‘me’ when I wear it.
I bought this skirt secondhand, and it's in excellent condition, but it turned out to be a bit too big for me. It's lovely, and I didn't want to part with it, but I have to be honest with myself and admit that it's time to let it go. I received the top as a gift, and although it seemed like a great option that's neither a shirt nor a T-shirt, I just never connected with it.
This vintage beauty is just waiting for someone to catch it. It's gorgeous, but it's too big for me, and like the skirt that's too small, I have to come to terms with the fact that it's not meant to be. I never even wore the ballet flats. I bought them in college when I didn’t think about my shopping decisions as much as I do today. And here we are.
Fisherman sandals are back in style. Although I've had these since they were first in fashion years ago, this time around, the trend didn't seduce me, and I'm ready to let them go for good. They look pretty cool worn simply with straight-leg jeans and a sweater.
I hope to see you on Saturday, April 22nd, at Impact Hub in Zagreb from 11 am. I’ll bring many more pieces for you to choose from, you’ll see some of them in tomorrow’s edition of Savvy Scoop (wink, wink). For more details, click here.
